Fernand Léger Exhibition at the Correr Museum in Venice

An important and unprecedented contemporary art exhibition in Venice centre from February the 8th To June the 2nd 2014 at the Correr Museum in St. Mark's Square. The exhibition is dedicated to the French painter Fernand Léger: a mixture of cubism, modernism, avant-garde in the art of Léger, not only a painter but a sculptor and filmmaker too, considered one of the forerunners of the pop art. This Venetian exhibition entitled "The Vision of the Contemporary City" is possible thanks to the collaboration with the Philadelphia Museum of Art where most of Léger paintings are on display. A great chance for all contemporary art lovers to understand the European avant-garde of the first part of 1900.
