On July the 15th 1989, the night of the Redentore Festival, Venice witnessed one of the most exciting and controversial nights of its recent history: the Pink Floyd concert on a floating boat in St. Mark's Basin, in front of more than 250.000 people gathered from all over the country and from abroad. The concert was broadcasted worldwide and some remember it as the concert of the century, surely Venice has never seen a similar event anymore!
You can now live that magic night until October the 26th 2014, thanks to an exhibition of pictures, videos and rare material which testify all the key moments of that event, the building of the stage, the arrival of the band in Venice, the concert, the day after.
An unmissable chance for all rock and Pink Floyd lovers who come to Venice, even because this 2014 will be remembered in music as the year of Pink Floyd's comeback, a new studio album is in fact planned for October!
