Those who attend Palazzo Grassi Museum and know Rudolf Stingel, could also be aware of the strong relationship between the Venetian Museum and the artist from Merano, Italy. His works and installations, famous all over the world, from New York to Amsterdam, from Paris to Frankfurt, occupy new spaces at Palazzo Grassi, which for the first time in its history is completely dedicated to one single artist, Rudolf Stingel. The 55th edition of the Biennale of Contemporary Arts in Venice, give the chance to Palazzo Grassi to exhibit more than 30 paintings (many of them made just for this event), plus an entire room completely covered (walls and floors) by a carpet based on an oriental rug by Stingel.
